Our Story & Mission
Who We Are
Bianco DiNapoli Tomatoes are organically-grown and harvested in Northern California. Long summer days and fertile soil produce these very unique & delicious tomatoes. Within hours of harvest, our plum- shaped tomatoes are washed, steam-peeled and hand selected at the cannery. Each can of the original whole-peeled is packed with a touch of sea salt, organic basil then topped in its own juices. We hope you enjoy them as much as we do!
Connect The Dots
Seeds, a field and a quiet factory. That's how it begins each winter. By summer, the California tomato harvest begins.
Our mission is to bring you the very best tomatoes that Mother Nature and human ingenuity has to offer. Organically-grown, hand selected, grown and processed in California. You are invited to search our website, meet the people and businesses that help produce our tomatoes. Ask questions. Give us feedback. Follow us on instagram. Help us Connect the Dots!
OUR FOUNDERS
Rob DiNapoli
Co-FOUNDER
July 1st of 1939, Rob's Grandfather, Frank DiNapoli, sold the first case of canned Apricots produced from a refurbished distillery in San Jose, California. He named his cannery Sun Garden Packing Company and thus began a DiNapoli family tradition spanning 70 years… delivering California grown and processed fruits and vegetables for the world to enjoy. The family tradition continues with the release of the 2010 production of Bianco & DiNapoli's Premium California Whole Peeled Tomatoes… Enjoy a small piece of California heritage!
Chris Bianco
Co-FOUNDER
A James Beard award-winning chef and founder of the critically acclaimed Pizzeria Bianco in Phoenix Arizona, Chris's entire career has been built on relationships with farmers and artisans supporting and celebrating the fruits of their labor; always believing "we are only as good as our ingredients and our commitment to them" and that "each dish tells a story of community and our human experience with the natural world". It is with this simple Philosophy and journey that we proudly present to you these Yolo county organic tomatoes.
